Hi everyone, so recently I hit 10,000 subscribers on YouTube (now at 17,000+) and to celebrate this I wanted to get a bronze play button made via 3D printing since YouTube don't give anything for this milestone.
Just to clarify, i'm NOT wanting to make a knockoff silver play button, I want to commemorate the milestone by making a 1/4 Bronze version of the button, it's always been my thought that YouTube should send something for reaching this milestone be it a play button or a play button shaped pin badge and Bronze seems like a logical color as silver and gold follow, I know a lot of people do hit 10,000 and sending a button would make it very expensive and it's likely why they don't do one but I still feel it's a great accomplishment and one I would like to commemorate, I had asked my subs what they thought I should do and many of them had the same idea.
Because I want to make it as accurate as possible to the official awards I need to know the dimensions of the Silver Play Button so that I can scale it down for the bronze button, similar to how the silver button is a scaled down version of the gold button.
Any other information people can give about the button would really help as well, I know that its got a small bevel curve to it and that it has 2 holding mounts in the back of it to attach it to the board, also if you have any details regarding the actual case as well that would also be very helpful.
Thank you.
EDIT: Cleared up some confusion, hopefully

You really want to make a bootleg play button? You should wait until you get the silver. Congrats on your milestone.

If it's for a joke, then yes. Great for a few laughs. But if you're making one to compensate for something you haven't achieved yet and really really want, I don't see the point in it.

I not making it to compensate for anything, i'm making it to mark the 10,000 milestone by making it a bronze version of the button, i'm not going to create a silver knockoff and be all like "OMG Look i have a silver play button", I'm just a bit of a stickler for making things looks right if i'm going to spend time making something, so since the Silver Button is around 1/4 the size of the Gold Button (from video measurements) it would make sense to make the Bronze button 1/4 the size of the silver.

Congratulations on 10,000 subs! I am on vacation for the week, so my silver play button is over 2,000 miles away, so I can't provide any measurements.
(I sorta feel like Anthony Michael Hall in The Breakfast Club claiming he has a girlfriend who lives in Canada).

Is Silver at 100,000 and Gold at 1,000,000 subs?
Just wondering.

Then I wonder why they didn't make a 10,000 sub bronze and a 10,000,000 platinum one...
