Like vanossgaming, and other gamers like that.
Do they make them theirself? Or they pay/advertise someone who makes them and in return they make the thumbnails?
Are there editors out there that would make thumbnails for youtubers in return for putting a link to their channel in every description or something like that?

Lets take Seananners for example,
He has someone in his team that makes them for him. The artist follows a similar style for each one.
Most likely he/she is on a salary to make them.
However other YouTubers such as PewDiePie, Markiplier, Ksiolagidebt all make their own!
Most of the time they are a 1 man army!

Well making Thumbnails is not all that hard. They probably use photoshop. There are graphic Artists out there who can make thumbnails and do a great job of it. But if you can learn Photoshop or another photo editing program you can do it yourself.

Ah right. Fair enough. I have looked at thumbnail software before and there was a decent free online one. Only thing with photoshop is, I know how to use it, but isnt it quite expensive?
Do you think you can make thumbnails using the same software for the video editing?
Obviously I'm not going to worry about thumbnails too much yet because I'm only just starting out and getting my setup. But it's always a good idea to just check beforehand anyways right?

There is a free online option called pixlr.com that is like a dumbed down version of Photoshop it is limited on fonts but has a lot of other lil things to have fun with.

Ok, thankyou. Pixlr rings a bell actually. I think that's the free one I was talking about.

Look up some tutorials, it'll be much easier not having to rely on somebody else
